How To Make Crepes
Mom's
Crepes - French Pancakes
Easy
enough for my 9, 12 and 14 year old sons to make individually
by themselves.
All three of our boys love this great tasting easy recipe.
Ingredients:
1 C. Flour
3 T. Sugar
3 Eggs
1-1/3 C. Milk
¼ t. Salt
1 t. Vanilla Extract
Directions:
Mix the above together.
In a non-stick crepe pan, or
small 6" non-stick skillet, pour a ladle full of crepe
mix in the pan and roll pan with your wrist to coat the bottom
of the pan. You want to make sure they are not too thick. -
This may be a bit of trial and error at first, but by the 3rd
crepe you should have the thickness correct.
Breakfast:
Place the crepe on a plate, sprinkle the top with sugar and
roll.
Dessert:
For this treat, place a dollop of ricotta cheese in the middle
of the crepe, and add cherry pie filling, then roll as usual.
Dinner
or Appetizer Option: Take a can
of Chicken A la King, 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, a T of
butter and pepper to taste. Heat in a saucepan. Then stuff in
the crepe and roll as usual.
